It is now possible to change the displayed date for a post. The interface for this is accessible via the Posts tab with the link "Rewrite History".
I haven't written any help for it yet because the interface should be extremely obvious. That's not a good idea, of course, but it will suffice for the moment. :-)
I added a simple error-checking feature to scheduled publishing to check to see if the post actually was scheduled. If it isn't, the scheduling dialog is launched.
Well, our upstream provider had some problems which took powerblogs off of the internet. I'm going to look into moving to a redundant, multi-vendor solution for hosting powerblogs so that we won't have a single point-of-failure.
Even though it's highly unlikely that the problem they experienced will happen again, it's much better to be safe than sorry.
